Thoughts Are Just Passing Through

 

Your thoughts & emotions can be viewed the same as clouds passing through the sky.  Observe and be aware.  Just as you enjoy, and admire a beautiful scene, or sunset.. when you’re filled with joy, hope, optimism.. you can be in the moment, and enjoy them just the same.  Just as the clouds will roll through, and the sun will set, know that these positive emotions will pass.

Your negative thoughts & emotions, fears, doubts, uncertainty.. they too will pass.. just as the grey clouds & storms pass through.  Observe & recognize when these negative emotions come through, just as you would observe them in the sky, and let them pass.  When you become fixated on the dark clouds, or try to push them away, you’re inviting them to stick around & to multiply.  When you simply are aware of their existence, and view them as passing clouds, before you know it, the sunshine & the color returns.  The more this is practiced, the faster the clouds roll past, and the brighter & more radiant the sun will shine through.
